I-CUT

I- Cut is the collaboration between the sitter and the photographer, the body image while also examining The photograph as a single object. Using a Fuji Film polaroid camera. I took one image only of the sitter in their chosen location with an option of being nude or underwear to cement the trust. I would hand the polaroid, a knife with a blade and a board to cut on. The sitter might or might not manipulate the image as they saw fit. I would collect the items and put them in their own ziplock bag or paper bag and frame.

Placing carefully each cut out bit outside the polaroid. This collection stopped when I collected 50 portraits.
